There was no question about giving up meals. There was a suggestion that to reduce waste, BA might bring back pre-ordering of food. I cannot imagine anyone would have said 'no' to that.
There was a question on my survey allowing people to decline food as an option to reduce food waste, presumably in advance, and in return for some Avios.
