Not sure what you mean by "more touches". In the 18 years I've been staying at SGS, I've been told no exactly once. I've read comments about the hard product there not being modern. SGS definitely eschews the chrome and glass look, but I prefer it just the way it is. Veined marble floors, polished brass handrails, and walls made from marble, silk and dark wood feel to me a bit like old world, elegant Europe. Definitely more my style than, say, the design of LM.
