It will depend on the route - it isn't freight fees, it is simply excess baggage fees. On most routes, baggage allowance is a weight allowance ; only where travel is to or from Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Canada and the USA, is the allowance based on pieces. The excess rates are listed at
