What is the on-time stats for the flight you are on? If it is usually on time or early you should be OK. Are in you in the front of the 319? F or MCE?
Me, personally, I would not risk a 57 minute connection for an international destination that only has one departure. If you miss it, you are stuck in PHL until the next day. Doesn’t matter that AA will sell it to you - there are no other options but leave a day later if you misconnect. And yes, spending 7 hours in PHL (the airport) will be painful. Extremely. I’d head into Center City and go somewhere / do something.
