Just finished a 4-night stay here.
Globalist upgraded to Junior Suite City View

Pros:
- Great shower/bathroom setup and water pressure
- Location is walkable to many upscale shops
- Rooftop pool open thru 8 with nice views of both Buckhead and Downtown Atlanta
- Car service hotel offers rides within a 3 mile radius

Cons:
- While some may like this, Globalist Breakfast is actually Brunch. Limited breakfast-like items and more focused on their Brunch offering.
- New construction build hotel (value engineered of course). Yes, you will hear your neighbors 🙄. Especially if you have a connecting room.
- While Junior Suite setup is nice, they need to remove the suite out of its name. Its nothing more than a semi-larger King bed room.
- Rooms either face the street looking at Paces Ferry Rd and the Kimpton across the street or on the other side, looking at a mid-rise apartment building, with the higher floors of the Thompson being able to see the other building's rooftop parking lot and the Downtown Atlanta city scape in the distance.
- Top floors (7+) can hear the private rooftop terrace music quite clear. Music tapers off around 10:30-11PM

Overall while the room furniture, setup and the hard product are eye candy, the soundproofing here is sub-par.
