The Rama Suite is somewhere very special, and is quintessentially Thai.

Depending on your definition of luxury, the SGS may or may not quite fit the bill. It is a lovely place though and at times the service can be much better than other hotels at twice the cost. I certainly wouldn’t choose the St Regis over the SGS.
