KLM Airlines, in my opinion, is terrible. I've had three round-trip experiences between the US and the Netherlands in the past year, all of which were very disappointing. The first flight was delayed by 2 hours and 50 minutes for no apparent reason, and they are very skilled at manipulating rules (based on EU-261). Two weeks before my second flight, they rescheduled me to the following day for no apparent reason, narrowly adhering to EU-261 regulations. The third time, I missed my flight back to the US due to a delay in the connecting flight, and had to stay overnight in Amsterdam. The later appeal was attributed to weather issues, but there was no written notification or email alert at the time; all passengers were simply waiting at the airport. Overall, I strongly discourage using this airline if you have any other option.
