After some travelling earlier this year, I'm sat on 290 tier points and looking for the easiest way to get 10 more points & bronze. My local airport is Exeter and I was thinking I could just fly Aer Lingus to Dublin or Belfast for a long weekend. In the lowest tier of economy this would earn 5 tier points each way per the flight calculator on the BA website.

However on the Collecting Avios page (https://www.britishairways.com/conte...llecting-avios) under Aer Lingus it states Minimum Avios: 300. Can someone explain what this means? I just want to make sure it doesn't mean a flight needs to earn 300 avios minimum or you get nothing for it. For avoidance of doubt I'm just after the tier points, so if I could get the tier points and no avios that would be fine.
