It almost seems like the timing was off on all this, if Chase waited for DL to move to T1 then they could have taken the SkyClub which is certainly better and less work than whatever they are building now, I can't think of any other user for the space, UA already has a club, AA doesn't need one if AS has one, and no INTL airline has a big enough presence for one. I know at one point AMEX was competing with Chase for the T2 space but now with DL moving to T1 it doesn't make sense for them either. I suppose it could become a generic contract lounge but not sure how much use it would get if Chase is already there.
