The more I think about the concept of Independent Journeys, the more I like it. This aspect of the traditional arrangement - where Wilson James has to do certain things in a certain way - is somewhat patronising to those who need a bit of help but can handle most things on their own perfectly well.

From the photos in post 74 they could extend it to arrivals by just adding more collection points. near the arrival gates. It doesn't have to be all 50 gates at T and 2 bus points, some gates could probably share a collection point, particularly in B and C. The problem there is that some B and C airbridges are massively long. But where there is a will, there is a way.

This is a proof of concept, so feedback on this scheme from likely users and their travel companions will be very useful, either via HAL's Twitter account or via this forum (I will pass feedback on).
