This is definitely one of the most special properties I have stayed in for sure. We were visited by no less than 15 monkeys. Their male leader obviously saw the welcome fruit inside and first climbed up the roof and peeked into the room through the top windows. Quickly the whole group arrived including many baby monkeys. The staff did warn us not to feed them so we stayed inside the room the whole time and observed. They stayed around the pool area and surrounding trees for a good 30 mins. Has anyone had similar experience? We did enjoy their company and felt it was a resort and monkey forest built into one.

By the way, we never paid the Bali tax and no one checked.
