Service: It’s okay; middle of the road.

Food: Prima Madonna; decent food, Abit over priced for what they served. Ordered grilled prawns and lobster spaghetti. Wait staff was unpolished, and more of a Dennys wait staff expertise.

Gym: Always good; just a weird walk to get to it.

Room: Surprised this hotel is booked full with going rates; but was offered a paid upgrade to the presidential suite and took it to check the room out.

Great room to host a small get together with fabulous outdoor patio.

Transport: Uber was about 38 dollars to get there.

For frequent fliers: I think it’s the best Hyatt option around LAX; but for a super short overnight stay, the HR LAX is just much easier. No need to take the LAXIT shuttle and then catch an Uber. For longer stay, I would chose the Shay.
