Does anyone have any experience with the new SFO-MNL-SFO flights? I've flown into MNL many times as a 1K and mostly into the old airport. Are there any tangible benefits to being GS when flying out of MNL? Tips and advice appreciated.
My wife and I did the route last fall when it started up. We were headed to TAC and connected on Cebu pacific and it was super easy at the new airport. No decent lounges when connecting “domestically”.
No real GS benefits in MNL. We were allowed to use the Singapore lounge (I think…we both got a stomach bug the night before the flight) when departing back to SFO, but I think that was because we were in Polaris.
they did leave one of bags in SFO on the way out, so that was a nice surprise lol.
