Not sure if this question belongs in this thread or elsewhere - mods feel free to move if it is more appropriate elsewhere...

If I ever need to use one of my banked years to achieve SE status because I fail to meet say the SQD target but do exceed the SQM, do my "excess" miles get banked for the following year or does it reset to zero?

To give an example, if I earn 120,000 SQM but only spend $15,000 then one of my banked years as SE would get used and as of Jan 1 of that year would 20,000 miles roll over to the next year's SQM or because I failed to make SE on AQD would SQM reset to zero?
