Personally I'd take the 772 with the lie flat, particularly at the lower price. The 321 is just a recliner seat.
Usually the 772 HD are flown on that route. I would only stick with the 772 if a seat on the sides were open. Otherwise given the relatively short flight, a seat on the A321 might be better than being stuck in the middle seat of the 4some center seats.
