I've utilized bellhops to hold luggage for me after checkout, but usually not more than a few hours. I was surprised to learn on Reddit that some people have held theirs all day, or even overnight. Was going to ask Conrad Midtown to hold for me until around 5pm, because I'm looking to catch a noon time Yankees game before coming back, and switching hotels. 5pm won't be a problem at all. First week of April checked out at 1pm, left bags with the bellmen and picked them up at 8pm.
As to the other whinging, I stay at this property ~30 nights a year (been doing so since it was the Rihga Royal, then the London, and now the Conrad) and have found it for the money to be the best balance of room size, solid service, and a great midtown location. Will be interested to see the next iteration. But if the value for the money remains compelling, will stick with the property.
