I'm currently booked 3 nights at IC Ljubljana with the Best Hotels program whatever it's called, where we get a room upgrade, breakfast and $100 credit.
IHG is allowing book with points but not with Chase free night certificates. However our nights are Thurs, Fri, Sat.

Can I get Ambassador for $200 and know I will get the Saturday free? Or is it subject to availability?
I'm sure I'd be ahead in line for a good upgrade than just with IHG platinum. But the hotel told me they don't upgrade to club rooms, is that correct? So the only way to get a club room is to buy it? Currently it's not that much more so I could buy 2 lowest level club rooms and get the third free and still come out ahead I think. How do you get the third night free? Is the Ambassador effective immediately?

As IHG Platinum, will I get breakfast if I book direct (if no club room)?
