I haven't ever followed this forum, but I stumbled upon what I think is a FD, in J, round trip from C1 to C2, with a 3X flight a full six months later. It isn't a killer deal, but my dates were essentially fixed, and adding the third flight lowered the fare by about 30%. Thing is, I need the third flight for a separate trip and fully intend to take it (I have a hotel and a rental car already booked). Poking around FT, I see that there is some risk of the entire ticket being cancelled by the airline. Is this the kind of thing that happens often? I don't have history of skipping flight legs.
