We had an overnight at Cabo on our Discovery Princess Total Solar Eclipse Cruise. We booked a sunset cruise the first day and whale watching first thing in the morning for the second day. So we saved ourselves the hassle of a lot of tendering back and forth and booked this for a pittance using points.

The lobby and breakfast areas if a bit spartan were clean and comfortable.






There was also a cute rooftop pool area which we didn’t use but looked pretty nice.




There was a washer- dryer available for a fee and an office area.



We were upgraded to an ocean view and if the room was nothing fancy it was clean, comfortable and functional.




The breakfast area had a good selection and was well stocked.





This worked great for us for our needs. If you are doing an overnight in Cabo on a cruise this is a solid choice and I recommend it highly for that purpose.

As for making it hotel for a longer stay in Cabo: this would be a personal choice. If you are willing to spend less on lodging so you can spend the money saved on other vacation expenses that could be a valid decision for you. I personally probably wouldn’t make that decision but I could see why people would.
