For the 777's they serve front to rear, one service cart per aisle - so 9k will be served after 8k, but there's not a significant time difference.

Personally, on short flights like yyz-ams I eat before the flight and then skip the meal onboard. I like to sleep....
Sorry, I should have been clearer in my post. I am planning on eating before boarding and then skipping the meal. My concern will be noise while other passengers are being served, so I was hoping that the service time in the mini cabin would be shorter than in the main cabin, but it seems that this is not the case. And yes, the flight is being operated by a 772.
