For years I had the apostrophe in my AA account (but no other FF programs and not on drivers license.. but it IS on my passport) In any case, I never had an issue until 2021 when I tried to book an award ticket on Qatar. This caused chaos where I couldn't confirm and pay for the ticket as there was a name mismatch. The easiest way to solve this is to contact AAdvantage and ask for a name change and take out the apostrophe with no space. I've never had an issue with precheck, GE, payments, or anything else since I've done this. Good luck!
