I think merger is likely if AFKL acquires majority in SK, but that may take some time so for now I'm working with the presumption that programs are separate for all practical purposes. I may reconsider when SK publishes AFKL earning chart but for now I'm planning to stick with KL.

I will be (at least) at 65 XP by the time I take that SAS flight so Silver is more or less secure for me with the remaining flights this year, whereas my EBS expires on 31 December and I wouldn't be able to renew it by then. That alone is a good reason to stick to FB. In terms of rewards, FB also seems a better fit for me.
