We stayed for a few nights last year, chose it for the leisure facilities. There is a pool, gym, spa, sauna, steam room etc. it was cheap (£110/night) and there is a small lounge for a few glasses of vino in the evening. There are things to do in the local area and we also walked into the town centre on a couple of days. More details in the experience thread.
