My hardly used UA Explorer card had a $1 charge and reversal from an outfit that googled showed it was a scam.
It happened 2 days before we went on a loong trip. I reported to Chase on this and the rep INSISTED to replace the card because this was fraudulent charge. Chase used UPS Next Day Air to deliver the replacement card which arrived the late afternoon the next day just before we left for our trip the next day.
The only reason I learned about the frauster attempt was Chase account alert - an online / phone / mail charge has occurred on your card...
I have account alerts set on ALL financial accounts on whatever alerts they have available. The best alerts options are Chase / Wells Fargo / PNC. Canadian TD Bank's alerts basically are a Joke, totally worthless.
