These pictures reminded me of our self tour of Hirado and the history of Christianity in the region -- while I do not have the camera skills of TBS the churches were similar -- more reserved on the outside buy gorgeous on the inside -- very Japanese....

This first Church is Tabira -- amazing stained glass on the inside, the second is Xavier -- unfortunately it was raining during our brief visit -- but some amazing Champon took away the dreary weather....
