You could keep the cruise card, but its no good after the cruise. Its what you use to pay for things on the ship and is linked to your credit card (or with Carnival they have gift cards you can add to your account the card can be linked to). Its also what you insert in the slot machines at their casino and can add money to the machine from your cruise card that takes it from cc or gift cards.
