But if you're staying as a Bonvoy elite at Sakura Prince, then the breakfast you'll likely be given is the one you receive in the club lounge, which is considerably smaller and doesn't offer cooked to order eggs to my recollection.
The times I've stayed at the Sakura Prince, I've done so through Marriott Rewards or Marriott Bonvoy. I imagine almost everyone visiting this thread is as well. Therefore, I'm comparing the lounge breakfast at the Sakura Prince, which is the Marriott Bonvoy breakfast benefit there, against the Marriott's restaurant breakfast buffet. There are limited options at the Sakura Prince's lounge during breakfast, and the Marriott has an expansive buffet spread that you'd expect from a hotel in Asia.

I have posted previously that the Sakura Prince will escort guests to the restaurant breakfast if the lounge is full but only if it is some comically short time (~15 minutes) to LO. In those cases, Mrs. Majuki and I had to quickly make a few trips to the buffet before sitting down to a rushed meal. It wasn't a pleasant experience. Our breakfasts in the lounge were crowded and left us both unsatisfied.

I would prefer the Sakura simply for location and the Japanese garden behind the hotel. As an Elite you can also use the pool of one of the other two hotels adjacent to said garden.

HTB.
As of January 2023 the lounge was in the location where it was when I had last stayed there before the pandemic in November 2019. I forget if it's the top floor, but it's on a high floor with windows that wrap around the corner of the building. The Marriott's breakfast was the full buffet both times I've stayed there.

Even though the facilities are on the lower level, I like the Sakura Prince's fitness center and spa. I agree that the grounds and gardens behind the hotel offer pleasant views from the room and a relaxing place to walk.
