I initially thought it was due to either (a) no award availability on that day or (b) Air Canada (or partners) not flying on that day. But it's a little odder than that... I tried finding a paid flight on 6/24 from PTP to a series of destinations in NA (e.g. NYC, YUL,YYZ...) and none of them show any availability. I expanded my search and noticed there are literally no flights on Mondays and Tuesdays to NA AFAIK.
Is it just a seasonal availability thing? Is there truly no way out back to North America on Mondays and Tuesdays?
Thanks
There are many islands in the Caribbean that do not have daily service to the continental US, particularly off season.
Air Caraibes has flights to other islands that day that you could use to fly to a larger destination. You could do a morning flight to FDF and then take the onward AC flight to YUL.
