I wouldn’t stay at OSL for more than one night almost irrespective of price but (a) yes the flytog is a waste of money and (b) yes the onsite hotels are better than those marketed as “airport” but a shuttle ride away. Personally for one night I’d take some of the eatery options in the terminal rather than eat at the hotels, but the latter is also fine.
