I stayed 4 nights there, back in March and had a good stay. As its name says, it is located in the Vila Olimpia district of SP, where a lot of businesses are located. A lot of people during the weekdays, quieter during the weekend but not deserted. It’s a safe district (everything is relative of course and caution is always required everywhere in SP). The Pullman shares the building with a Grand Mercure and a convention center.
I checked-in in the evening and was warmly welcomed as a Diamond member.
The lobby has a lot of natural light and is quite pleasant.
I booked Executive apartment/Queen bed and was upgraded to Premium Deluxe room/King bed. Room was at the far end of the corridor (part of my preferences, to have less noise). Compared to other hotels I stayed previously in SP (Accor and non-Accor), soundproofing was very good and I could barely hear the noise from planes taking-off or landing in CGH.
The welcome amenity was already in the room. This chocolate cake was very good. The minibar was fully stocked. Two free bottles of water were provided. There was a Nespresso machines with 4 capsules provided. Neither the water of coffee capsules were replenished during the stay which I found quite surprising and disappointing for a Pullman.
Bathroom had both bathtub and shower.
Weird sign at the elevators…
Pictures of the 1st floor where they have meeting rooms.
In the main lobby, close to the front desk, I noticed this sign and this was unexpected because I didn’t see this hotel in the list of those having a lounge. In fact, it’s a small area on a mezzanine overlooking the lobby, reserved for Plat & Diamond guests (but also for Gold !), where you can have all day coffee, water, soft drinks for free. No food apart from a few crackers and sweets. Better than nothing and which compensated the lack of new Nespresso capsules and water in the room.
The bar and restaurant (open all day for breakfast/lunch/dinner). Breakfast buffet was good and you van order eggs and other usual stuff. Free diamond breakfast on weekends was applied without issue. For the drink voucher redeemed at the bar, I couldn’t have a caipirinha unfortunately but it was valid for the usual drinks (I had a glass of wine).
One “criticism” I could make is the lack of swimming pool. In Brazil, you expect this

, although of course, I knew from the beginning there was none in this hotel.
Overall a good stay (apart the minor problems for water/coffee). I mentioned it in the satisfaction survey and received apologies from the customer experience manager who said they will review the internal procedure to make sure it’s improving and told me to contact them prior to any of my future stay to make sure everything will be perfect.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel if the vila Olimpia district is convenient for you. I would return without hesitation.
