Got to the Escape lounge in T3 yesterday to be greeted with "we are taking the food and drink away in 5 minutes" The lounge closes at 1730 on a Saturday. Not ideal when the last BA flight is scheduled at 1845 (and running very late because it took 90 minutes to change a tyre at LHR - 90 mins!).
I queried this and the lady just said "we have always closed at 1730 on a Saturday" which I think is not correct. When I left there is a sign which said "If this lounge is closed please use the alternative facility in Terminal 3" I think they meant T1. The guy next to me had raised an official complaint to BACR. It all seemed a bit half baked.
