In May of 2023, some employees and press gathered upstairs at a location near Denver’s gate A18 & A20 and Kirby proclaimed a Polaris Lounge would be built right here, in a few years. Lots of comments at that time in a Denver United Club thread, mostly positive and riddled with anticipation. I, however, was not convinced it would ever happen, at least within the next 5 plus years. Here we are a year later and the fanfare, confetti and balloons are just a memory.

I thought it might be time to start a new thread because Kirby said it’s going to happen and we are just finishing year 1 of his “a few years” construction schedule.

So, here we go with the guesses, denials, comments, “a GS agent told me” stories, I saw a construction barricade and the like.

Perhaps the best would be a contest to see who can guess the exact date it will open. Maybe we would get Delta to donate a day pass to their Denver Admirals Club as a prize!
