Etihad A350 Business Class (NRT-AUH)
Etihad flies the NRT-AUH with A350, the best looking plane these days in my opinion.
Today's seat was 7K with both window and aisle access. It was the new business cabin but not as new as the inbound B787 from MUC to AUH.

I opted for another soup as the roasted tomato soup on the MUC-AUH flight was divine. Unfortunately the mint coriander one here did not meet the same bar, but tasted nice and refreshing nonetheless. The soup was brought without a spoon so I had to wait for a while to start eating.

After dinner I decided to check out the LiveTV offering and watched tennis for a while, however
the entertainment system crashed and I was staring into a black screen saying please wait
or into a screen with an Android OS pop-up saying process not responding.
At some point I got sleepy so I made the bed and went to sleep. The flight was quite turbulent so I woke up every 30 minutes or so but in the end slept almost 7 hours. There was no 2nd meal service before landing but you could order from the all day menu instead - I got a chicken skewer and coffee with madelines, which helped me to get back to life. Unfortunately with the flight landing at midnight in AUH, it was evening hours in Europe, so the jetlag would be challenging over next couple of days.
