HadesNL I agree that the Lounge Pass is very generous at 40 nights with the validity as it stands. I can definitely see this changing. One year from date of claiming sees likely. There also seems to be a bit of pushback by hotels (mainly in the USA) about the free Diamond breakfast, but I think this is a fair benefit, partuiclarly when you compare it to other programmes. I have to say that in Asia where I mainly travel benefits are offered without question.

And on the matter of consumables being treated as a "take away" item - I am at the CP Fukuoka right now and this evening I saw a guest decanting a very large glass of red wine into a flask. One of the lounge staff saw him doing it, but I don't think she said anything. However the guest stopped decanting and left the lounge fairly promptly.
