AC033 has been canceled for May 5th, flying back from BOG. Placed me on AC117 which leaves two and half hours before I land in YYZ? Called in to make changes, and the first agent said you have to spend the night in YVR and sit in Y. I had a PY ticket and upgraded to J, nice seat too 1K. She then said you have to do your own hotel and meals. She said AC looked after this during covid but not now???? Whaaaat. I was confused and said leave the reservation as it, it good. Came home, called back and spoke with a real agent, yes I have to spend the night in YVR but at AC expense, I am in Y and hope to get upgraded again, and I get home to YLW the next day and will have to rush to the office. If I am in Y, no issues I am sure AC will compensate, they have been good to me thus far. With the food strike still on, I guess I will brown bag it... from BOG, lol.
