Apologies if this should go in another thread.

My companion and I were upgraded today on a segment of a flight after check in, but for some reason I am still checked in but she is not. From talking to support it sounds like the ticket needs reissuing and they are saying I have to go to the airport to do that. Ticket is issued by AA with AA flight numbers. Generally speaking, does anyone have experience with this and how long it takes? I know on other airlines (looking at you, Delta) it can be quite a long process so want to make sure we don't run into issues.

Both of us have seat assignments in the F cabin, so I guess that is good. Thanks in advance!
