Really? What's your basis for saying that? My explanation is exactly what UA told me and I can say, after living in Jackson WY for six years and flying in and out every two weeks, that almost all the commercial planes one sees there are either RJs or A319s or A320s.
Just do a search on the internet and you can see plenty of pictures/videos of 737's in JAC. Both UA and AS plan to fly them there this summer.
