I've stayed at the Conrad midtown 3 times and always been upgraded

Not sure if it impacts it not but normally it's for an anniversary or wife's birthday, so I call and tell them that. We get an upgraded room and they put cake in the room (which we feel bad about because we are kosher and can't eat it). One time they had a huge thing of balloons too which we brought home for the 3 year old and she was super excited
