As someone who had this same experience with United/Brussels Air/AirEuropa last summer, it will show up, but it might not be quick. It took me a week. I think Iberia was your last carrier (AGP-MAD)? If so, that is who you file the claim with. I misconnected in BRU and ended up being put on AirEuropa to get to MAD. My bag didn't. I filed the claim at MAD airport with Air Europa. My bag sat in BRU for a few days. United claimed no responsibility and insisted it was AirEuropa's problem. Eventually (about a week) it was flown to MAD (but I had moved on to AGP). The next day AirEuropa flew the bag to AGP and drove it to where we were staying in Mijas. I was given a claim ticket, and there was an app to track progress. I followed up every day with phone calls.
It was a super hassle. But if Iberia was the last carrier on the modified ticket, they are responsible. Good Luck!
