Unfortunately, the only place I've stayed while in Gero is Shogetsu, since it's widely understood that it's far and away the top luxury option in the area.
Thanks for getting back to me but fortunately I kept checking Japanican, and had successfully made separate bookings for two nights! I was dreaded having made reservations for stays prior and after Shogetsu, that we were gonna end up and some creaky 1950s motel.

Also booked Wanosato and Takimotokan Yuki no Sato. Excited! Also does anyone have experiences with Nagoya hotels? We're looking to layover for a night first.
