I’m BA Gold (OWE) travelling PHX-MEX on an Economy reward ticket on AA booked via BA.com.

The ticket says zero checked bags.

The AA baggage page says 3 x 23kg (I think it’s 23kg).

The AA overweight page says OWE has 3 x 32kg bags.

I need it to cover a normal 23kg checked bag and a 23kg bike bag.

I’m totally baffled… help?

The ticket accurately reflects the baggage allowance for non-status passengers. As long as your BAEC number is in your reservation record -- and AA is able to recognize your OWE status from your number -- then you will be fine.

You will know that AA has recognized your status when the AA website lets you select "Main Cabin Extra" (extra-leg-room) seats for free.

Give AA's systems a day or two from ticket issuance to recognize your status.
