When you book through UA, you probably get a rate the hotel clerk sees at check-in w/ all the benefits listed. Anyone you talk to doesn't know all the special inclusive rates being offered by various companies they work with. Of course, if the property is all-inclusive and the VIPaccess benefits are redundant, there's not much benefit.

Make sure the rate that includes a bottle of sparkling wine and 20% spa services doesn't cost a lot more than what you can book at Kayak or similar. And don't credit the wine for too much money.
