Tell me about it. I wanted to go up and visit with friends in mid Feb that are going to be in SF from Philly, but with fares from LAX nearing $200 rt and fares from BUR an astronomical $230+, it aint happening. I refuse to fly WN to OAK too. Actually their fares from both airports were the same, but were only like $30 cheaper than on UA anyway. I'll have to keep a ready eye out for last minute weekend fares for the weekend they are here and hope LAX or BUR and SFO are offered.
