I believe that the website, when detailing SE benefits, has said SE's get free preferred seats "with all fares on all markets" since at least early last year (when I first looked at AC status pages). I noticed the turn of phrase, which seemed concise and elegant:

The phrase is also used to describe AC seating benefits for SEs in blog posts from at least Dec 2022.

I assume the website that now says SEs get it on standard and flex fares, in addition to comfort and latitude, is mistaken.
