I just tried to use the J meal preorder on AC103 this Sunday before it closed and got a page of “no menus were found for your booking”. It was working last week at T-11 (parsley omelet or French toast) but I didn’t decide on what I wanted so I didn’t order. Also instead of the app flight status showing the menu for J and PY it just says breakfast and no menu. Y apparently still has bistro though as the app will still show the bistro menu. I haven’t received the disruption email others have so I guess they’re going to be catering it but to what degree or with what is for me to find out later.
Yeah, so I got that email a few days ago (but well into the strike) from a YYZ-LHR flight on may 7. I went in, selected my option, got the confirmation email. I went in yesterday to check something and its all gone.
Trying to read tea leaves here, I can't tell if they sent this out by mistake, or if earlier this week they were more optimistic about catering in 2 weeks than they are now.
