I don't know if I'd call it "run around", that's sort of the standard process for them... Once they open a ticket to engage the merchant, they always (IME) quote the 6-8 week window because the window to resolution is extremely dependent on the merchant's cooperation. I can't speak for MF specifically so I'm not much help to the OP (mine posted automatically), but to this point I'll say I've had the merchant engagements take anywhere between 3 days to a glasses.com ticket that's still actively in overtime over the 8 week window. The 6-8 week thing might sound like a stall tactic by Cartera, but it really just depends on the engagement of the merchant.
