A family friend was booked on BOD-LGW today. She was told yesterday that her Thursday flight was cancelled so she got rebooked to last night's flight (Wednesday). The Thursday flight seems to be back on. I'm wondering what it means in relations with EU/UK261. She slept on our sofa last night so there's no duty of care expenses but she did get involuntarily rebooked from a flight that is actually going ahead. Am I correct in thinking that there's a claim here?
Unfortunately based on CWS’s post there be no EU 261 compensation as the flight was re instated at short notice due to the late industrial action being called off. That’s something BA and other carriers didn’t know yesterday
