Unable to Submit Baggage Delay Claim
Unfortunately I cannot submit a delayed baggage claim using ITA's online baggage claim form for the following routing on the same booking (neither are codeshares):
China Airlines TPE-FCO
then
ITA Airways FCO-FRA
My guess is this is either because it is not an ITA PNR (it's a China Airlines one on an award ticket issued by Delta starting with a ticket number of 006), or because their online form doesn't support claims for connecting itineraries (only one flight number can be input but it requests you input destination & arrival airports).
I have emailed the following bif @ ita-airways. com asking how to submit my claim but received an immediate automatic reply stating: "We remind you that this e-mail address can only be used to declare your baggage content related to baggage disruptions." It seems that email is more for lost baggage tracking & the submission of lists of what's inside.
Is anyone aware of how to contact ITA regarding this, or whether that email address will ever email me back? I had to buy a significant amount of clothing to account for my missing belongings &, accordingly, hope this can be processed asap.
