The e-ticket receipt does not show a baggage allowance customized for my itinerary. It just has the standard tables of ticketed allowance by cabin/destination (2), and of the extra frequent flyer allowance (1), and various rules and exclusions which have I think all been quoted here -- i.e. both that the extra baggage allowance only applies to QF flights, but also that QF baggage rules will apply to the entire itinerary.

If I end up taking the third bag, I'll be prepared to possibly pay extra for it, but I'll report back here in any case since folks seem interested in the outcome.
