Spent 50 minutes and 2 agents on 0800 number today. Busines Class Seats on SQ and PE on LH
1st agent (new) tried to palm me off to SQ / LH to sort seat select with them. Only when I insisited I was not a LH / SQ customer but an NZ customer on 086 tickets and I should not have to deal directly with Air NZ suppliers and pointed out the LH / SQ had directed me back to NZ as the ticketing entity so as the customer was caught in the middle, just wanted app access and to pay for seat select and asked if there was anybody more knowledgeable about the issue, was told there was no one in Air Nz who could help me not pay $124 seat select . . . . . missed the point totally.
Passed on to supervisor who straight away said I could not avoid the seat select fee, as already told by agent 1. Indicated that was not the issue . . . . arrrgh. Supervisor had another look based on my real issue and said LH flight has not been confirmed by LH and looks to be a schedule change anyway . . . so that is the reason why greyed out / no access. TA needs to sort and all should be good etc. Will bring up training issue with agent 1. . . . .
Will monitor and see if it corrects in app and desktop
LH flight is also greyed out in my miles and more account as well
